The starter-kit supports vocational teachers and education planners in teaching with sound and internet radio. You will find technical recommendations, pedagogical advice and radio-journalistic principles, as well as teaching cases and sound samples.
Vocational institutions from Denmark, Turkey, Hungary and Germany have had several trial runs of a teaching module in their countries and cross-nationally. Radio stations have supported with professional expertise and quality control. The Danish Institute for Educational Training of Vocational Teachers and the European School Head Association have contributed with process consultancy and perspectives on the European point of view.
The starter-kit was developed during the international project ‘Internet radio as learning tool’, funded by the European Commission under the Leonardo-da-Vinci programme.
The starter-kit is a co-production between the project partners, edited by Regina Lamscheck-Nielsen, Danish Institute for Educational Training of Vocational Teachers.
