Danmarks Radio DR
DR Education
has 85 employees and is a part of
The Danish Broadcasting Corporation
(DR) with a total of 3.500
employees. It is a public service
broadcaster, that produces TV and
radio programs as well as websites.
DR is the
largest broadcaster in Denmark and
has a long
tradition of making state of the art
materials and services for the
educational sector. DR has its main
offices and production facilities in
Copenhagen. There are also
production facilities and radio
stations in 10 major Danish cities.
DR has all the
necessary skills and modern
production equipment needed to
produce TV, radio and web-based
solutions. DR is a leading player
within internet-radio and podcasting
and has an experienced workforce in
this production.
DR has for
many years taken an active part in
the European Broadcast cooperation
and has a wide range of experience
in international media cooperation.
DR Education has participated in
several EU funded projects, such as
a project about diversity
management. DR Education is also
active in several international TV
and radio co-productions which
involve media producers as well as
training institutions.
Role in the
project
Danmarks Radio
participates as a sparring partner
to the Danish project group.
Danmarks Radio is the advisor in
journalistic questions during the
project group’s work.
DR will also
observe and give feedback on the
students work during the teaching module.
Finally, DR will aim at publishing
the students’ final trans-national
Internet-radio production.
